Hi guys, I think my van has had enough of see the garage now, so i wondering if you guys knew of any good van leasing companies. Im currently driving a berlingo at the moment. I was thinking about getting a larger van for bigger loads, what do you guys think. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

How often do you get asked to carry larger loads, if not very often then I wouldn't bother.

I looked at leasing a few years ago and it gets very costly, firstly not all leasing companies will offer you a deal on say 50, 000 miles a year, those who do are expensive, the longer you lease it the cheaper it gets, but who wants to lease a van with say 150k on the clock and be 3 years old, most vans are starting to give you trouble by then, my advice would be stay small and if you can afford buy a new/nearly new one and aim to change it every couple of years, it's cheaper than leasing well that's my opinion.

Look for a finance lease option you don't get mileage restrictions. There are a few companies that offer it. I got a few quotes recently and found a company called global vans solutions in Bristol was the cheapest.

The cost of the van is significant but small in comparison to the cost of the fuel.

Expect to put at least 3 x the value of the purchase price through any van you run

Go to your nearest Bca auction centre. You will be surprised at the prices you can pick up a second hand van for.

There is a mode of thinking that once all the major/perodoic things have been replaced its good for another 60K

After fuel costs the depreciation is a much bigger cost than repairs.
