540I've done work for [business]. After 30 days I rang my contact to remind him payment was due. I was told the boss had asked who this [business] is. He said he'd told the boss and that it was sorted. I had to ring again two weeks later and was told I was about to be paid, which I was, a couple of days later. I do wonder how long I would have waited had I not rang the second time!

It's my experience that the courier companies who pay the least take the longest to pay. I'm lucky that [business] is the only company that I've had trouble with. Maybe I don't get out enough!

790
I am not surprised.

The owner legally mugged me 3 years ago.

Still waiting for my £500.

No only that but he took great pride in telling me how his company had emerged from the ashes of another he had allowed to go bust. Just like Man from Cullompton this is his modus operandi.

I even sent my unpaid invoices to his customers who he had kept. Never thought they would or should pay, but it made me feel a bit better, especially as I sent them copies of the P.O.D.s that they had provided.

There are legal crooks out there.

Just thought members ought to be aware.

Kind regards

[name]

For further information please contact me.
