The Colonel

As I drive around the country i've noticed that portion sizes in KFC vary considerably.

Yesterday I ordered a double snack-box with 1 piece of thigh and 1 piece of side rib (breast to the uninitiated).

The pieces were huge, well seasoned and very tasty. Today i had the same meal from a KFC just 50 miles apart and was extremely disappointed with not just the portion size but the lack of secret recipe coating.

Has anyone else got unusual and interesting stories to tell about the Colonel and his product range?

More of a McDonalds / Burger King man myself if I can't find a layby snack van.

I haven't been into a KFC for upwards of 30 years. Not since I discovered what it looks like first thing in the morning ... when you're sober.

I love KFC but of all the fast food outlets, they have the slowest service by a mile, so unless there is no-one in the queue I go elsewere.

KFC is supposedly consistent, it varies everywhere, the eggandbaconsandwich looks superb .

yes i agree that bacon looks so good it must be beechwood smoked back and hopefully lurpak buttered bread

macy D for me the food is crap but at least they do a cup of PG for a quid!! I can put up with cheap crap luke warm food but bad tea? never!!

KFC .... just like the colonel the chicken they use has been dead for years !

Yep, the only reason they give you it in a bucket is so you've got something to throw up in afterwards.
