I had work for 2 vehicles today, simply too treacherous around here. Hope the ploughs are out in the next hour or so.

What's the point of taking a vehicle out to risk the chance of doing 4 times the cost of damage to revenue? If a jobs started or already booked in you have to do your best but you should have a point at which you call it a day

The problem is - for every capable driver there is about ten morons causing chaos and sliding all over the road

Tell you what, these little Berlingo vans - bloody good in the snow! Two or three times yesterday I thought I was going to get stuck but it just kept plodding on.

Friday's jobs, Bristol done, Wrexham done, Derby done 3 times, Coventry done, Milton Keynes done twice, Birmingham done, 2x Londons done, Macclesfield done 2x Manchesters done, yes it was slow going but all jobs were done.

4" of snow this morning and even the bloody dustbin wagon didn't turn up, rang the council to be told we cant get the wagon out. She put the phone down when I told her we got 4 vans out this morning with out much problem, and did they want me to come down and show them how to drive in the snow.
