I always get stemetil from docs mate, as i cant sail well either and i start taking them a day or so before a trip, they seem to work for me, except one trip back from Cherbourg in a force 10, man that was unpleasant.

Mr [name]...the centre of the ship is best...less movement....the higher up you go, the more you experience the swaying back and forth....although seeing the horizon and being outside can help some.

I've just read apparently steering the boat is the best remedy....so best have a word with the capt eh?...lol

Price the job accordingly and go on the train!

If you MUST use the boat, if you feel sickness coming on Lie down somewhere, I have been in terrible storms [eg across Bay of Biscay] and laying down has never been a problem.

If you can depart Folkestone just after midnight on Friday and depart Calais just before midnight on Sunday, you can get it at day return prices. Try it on the tunnel website.

Sorry but I must disagree, sitting in a nice warm cabin with a wee dram or two and a greasy bacon buttie is the much better option, and no-one steers by hand any more, it's all done on auto pilot. At least it is on mine. lo

have a big fat greesy breakfast before you get on the boat sorted
