Brushing aside the remarks, the comments are really thinning out.. Anyway.. Paint and ADR.. Just to add to the mix, what about petrol, I know the tankers are ADR haz chem signed up and all that, but what about your own vehicle? What is the difference between a contained petrol/diesel tank on a motor vehicle and a can of paint In the ADR world? Especially on a motorcycle?

Does that mean if I buy 10 litres of paint from B and Q I'll have to get someone with adr to take it home for me? Or is it only hazardous when carrying for h&r?

Paint has four listings, LQ amounts depend on packing group ;

UN1263 PG1 - 500ml, PG2 and PG3 -5 litres UN3066 PG2 - 1 litre, PG3 - 5 litres UN3469 PG1 - NIL, PG2 - 1 litre, PG3 - 5 litres UN3470 PG2 - 1 litre

These are for flammable products mainly cellulose based, water based paint such as emulsion is not a risk therefore not ADR.
