Nice day out delivering x 9 fire doors to Windsor today, M! &amp; M25 traffic quite light, weather good, arrived on schedule, get ready to unload doors, head man say's...No those are not the doors we ordered, you will have to take them back, several phone calls later and we are back on M25 en route home (Leeds) with x 9 doors.<div>Phone door company, tell them we won't be back before they close so will drop doors off 1st thing tomorrow. Next a phone call to company who ordered doors for client, "Yes" she say's "they got it wrong, just drop of the others, when can you re-deliver?"...got a couple of motorbikes to move tomorrow so we're off to Windsor again on Wednesday...ahhh the unpredictability of the M25...deep joy!...hope the weather is good...a reasonably busy week...if only they were all like this :)</div><div>ps...waved in the general direction of Stanstead at [business] :)</div>

I know it was a typo but if any motorway should be named the M! it should surely be the M25

I've ordered some stand out Ultra Blue vinyl decals for my silver Jumbo so soon you'll be able to see me and wave in my general direction too!&nbsp;

Had nothing yesterday and nothing so far today but have a busy day tomorrow. Picking up three pallets today and delivering to Oldham at 9am tomorrow. Also have bid on a Wickford to Oldham and a Manchester to London. I am also waiting on a Sunderland to London and a Chigwell to Rochdale. The Sunderland is dependent on him accepting my quote and the Chigwell is subject to her winning the bid and then accepting my quote (only six miles between Oldham and Rochdale so won't need to rip her off!)&nbsp;

Reciprocal wave back from the Wavee to the Waver who waved in the general direction of the Wavee, in accordance with the Reciprocal Wave Treaty, EU Directive 34982-BZA/31, (2007), Section 3, Paragraph 4 (c), describing the use of the correct protocol to be adopted when waving in the general direction of another courier, as amended by the Wave Mutual Acknowledgement Act (2003), subsection 23, para 7 (a) iii, as subsequently interpreted by the Court of Courier Justice, Case No 1264/2005, at the Preliminary Hearing, paragraph 27, sub-section c, taking into account the recommendations made in the Report of the Waving Committee of Couriers, 2001-2002.

So much for ifs and possibles. Despite bids and calls all I got was a 'Do you know anyone with a 7.5 tonner for a delivery to Monaco?'<div><br></div><div>Turned out to be leave Welling at 3am for a 9am drop at Oldham (very strict, timewise, that lot so best to make EXTRA sure not to be late) and eventually straight back to Welling with no pick ups along the way other than expensive coffee, Monster drinks and a £1.95 charge for drawing cash!</div>

And you made that phone call to me [name] lol. Thats why you have to charge the right rate for the first job out anything else is a bonus never rely on back loads to make your day.

The job out paid OK but it's always better to get a back load. In the end I was so tired I just wanted to get back home. Did you get a call by the way?
