Actually I think in the eyes of the law if you are not found guilty you are innocent. Hence the phrase 'innocent till proven guilty'.<div><br></div><div>FWIW I have no idea about anything to do with John Terry as I don't follow football.</div>

Not guilty means the prosecution have not been able to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt...that is not the same as being innocent. There are plenty of examples of the guilty getting off, as there are the innocent being sent down<div>There is law and there is justice, and they're not the same thing</div>

In English law you are presumed &nbsp;innocent until proved otherwise if a not guilty verdict is returned then it has not be proved.<div>Regardless of the case it is very wrong to have two trials which essentially has happened, the criminal case should take seniority over any&nbsp;disciplinary proceedings.</div><div><br></div><div>Me, looking at the video he looks like he is saying it &nbsp;but I never listened to all the evidence and the media view can seriously alter the facts</div>

just because there's insuffient evidence in a court of law and he's found not guilty, it doesn't necessarily follow that he IS guilty because there is insufficient evidence to find him guilty!!&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>&nbsp;Who gets the £220,000 fine money??
