Job texts

Am I the only one getting more than one text for the same job? I know texts are only 6p each but it's annoying when I've already deleted one text for the usual up north 30 mile job only to get it sent again! Sort it out please, Admin!

Surely that's your job isn't it? I've spoken to vendors about jobs still shown as active when they've already been covered and see they're still there. I thought we just pointed these things out.

LK's Scarborough to Portsmouth being a case in point. 

Lets keep this thread on topic (more than one text for the same job) and not confuse what we're talking about by mentioning old jobs.

They are 2 different jobs on the system. Please tell me how you think it's my job to stop vendors listing 2 jobs from the same place to the same place? Maybe they need 2 vans?

Apologies for that, Admin. If I hadn't deleted the first text I would have realized, so it was my error. Best to delete the thread I suppose?

No worries, I will tidy the thread up later for you as it was a valid question so it might explain another similar scenario to someone else wondering if they got a duplicate alert.

Feel free to start another thread on old jobs showing / should system close them / should vendors close them. If you do, please title the thread specifically what it is about i.e. 'Should old jobs be shown?', I'll rename this one to something more appropriate.
