Hi everyone, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I've been in transport for about 11 years now in various types of jobs including Securicor sameday, Powerhouse electrical and white goods, Parcelforce multidrop and more agency jobs than I care to remember, the longest was Parcelforce at nearly 6 years, a couple at Securicor and about three at Powerhouse until they closed down.

I've now taken the plunge and gone out on my own so keen to build up relationships within the industry and most importantly on MTvan for taking on subbed out work and hopefully when I'm a bit more established for subbing out work myself.

I'm based in Lincolnshire, centrally placed for Lincoln, Grimsby, Hull and Doncaster with easy access to Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester and about half way up the A1 between London and Edinburgh

I have a sign written Iveco Daily XLWB high top and I wear my own uniform as I want to present a professional image and be a good ambassador for anyone I sub for. I have plenty of straps, blankets and bungies to tie down and protect loads. Super clean, carpeted load area for furniture etc and a load liner for when I'm moving pallet jobs or "dirty" stuff. I also have two bike ramps for motorbikes and quads ( incl appropriate insurance ) or mobility scooters.

I have £20,000 GIT and £2m Public Liability as well as £20,000 CMR for European work. I am registered with Royal Mail Sameday, so have passed their security clearance.

If anyone can use me I'll post when I'm empty at home or for backloads and look forward to helping out colleagues via MTvan and spreading the love when I am more established. Cheers. Ian Baxter
