GIT For Europe

There is no such thing as a permanent GIT-insurance over here on the Continent. My insurance broker has been trying to get me one for years now: no option: CMR rules throughout Europe.

So I have been trying to get GIT from UK insurance companies, yet they will not take on non-UK registered vehicles.

So has any CMR-user come up with a workable solution other than getting a per-job insurance for each separate job?
