Apologies to all concerned, we did not read Forum rules correctly about advertising.

We had no intention of inciting riots by being honest about the rate and terms we pay.In this industry honesty with couriers is very unusual, we could promise the world then not pay correct rate, low mileage, delay payment due to POD's not returned and discrepancies .....we DONT do that.

Our drivers are paid every month last Friday, with Bonuses, if we get more on a job we pass it on. Swings and roundabouts have always been the norm in this job, you as a courier/company who has been in the industry more than a few years would know this, also you look at your earnings over at least a month not on daily or even an individual job basis !

Dont judge me or my company you don't know me, people that do know us have respect for me and my work ethic.

Do NOT give me advice about how I run my business on here, if you want to talk to me my number is on here or your always more than welcome to come to my office for a coffee and a chat, you will then have an opportunity to make a view on CCC.

I also have a linkedIn profile which will give you an overview of my experience in this business.

If you're recruiting or gauging interest in regular runs we're pretty lenient (which is why your post was left). This is because there's not a specific part of the site that currently lends itself well to this sort of thing. Advertising individual jobs on the forum is not allowed, the site is set up to deal with finding a courier for a job via the regular post work page.

Thanks Admin, thats what I thought we were doing recruiting and offering regular runs.

I am happy for you to remove our post if it is causing people issues, all seems a little picky which is why I have avoided these sort of sites like the plague in the past.

Kind regards

Its not picky Steve, but you should know yourself that if you stick a rate thats that low on any forum, you will get a response. It would be naive of you not to expect it. If you make it public, be big enough to take the flack... Or don't post the rates, afterall that is between you and the courier concerned and no one elses business. By advertising it, you make it the business of anyone who wishes to comment.

I advertised our rate to be upfront and due to when I first joined this site/forum a few drivers pm'd to ask our rates which I gave in confidence, then one of these idiots decided to stalk me by sending unsolicited email, posted to our FB page etc slagging the rate off. So yes, I posted on here expecting questions and civilised chat, not the vitriol and abuse aimed at the legitimacy of my company yesterday, all proved unfounded and uncalled for.

I also object to the argument that CCC paying low rates, we include GIT cover, uniform at no charge... TNT, Rico, Crown, Citysprint and DHL all pay under 60ppm to couriers and make them jump through hoops to get correct pay.

This is my final post on this subject, I don't have the time for this.

And that was quite rightly removed, but again, to make your rates public, you have to expect feedback, whether its good or bad.

I give advice, free of charge, and you can take it or leave it. Nothing to do with telling you how to run your business, more a helpful hint on how to avoid ridicule and negativity on a public forum, open to all. We all have views, some you'll agree on, some you won't, but it doesn't make them more or less valid as to whether you agree with them or not
