2250As far as I know you will need an Operators Licence to hire one, or get someone who has one to cover you.

We don't deal with them any more, but when we did, the lowest rate we could source was about £2 a mile.

£3.00, maybe I should think about taking these jobs on and sub them out, but I wouldn't even know where to start on priceing it up especially for London. Think im going to do a bit of research on it

3617Need a CPC as of september gone if you had grandfather rights, plus also a Tacho Digi card from DVLA at a cost of £38 I think as most 7.5 have digi rather than graph.. Mine runs out in 2015
Johnson Couriers
145£651 for an operators license! Also applicable if you tow a trailer behind a van for hire or reward. VOSA are strict on this. Digi tacho is not compulsory, but is common. Tacho is compulsory. CPC is compulsory. Speed Limiter to 56mph is compulsory. Do not tow a trailer plated above 750kg behind a 7.5 tonner or try to drive a combination above 8250kg on a grandfathers license or face being impounded. Vehicle must adhere to a strict maintenance program approved by VOSA. Happy Days.
